Did zidane get his golden ball taken away??? if so, do you think that was right?

personally, i think he didnt deserve it. this isnt the first time that hes lost it during a match and had to be kicked off the field. i dont care what materazzi said...a bigger man would have used his anger to play a better game...instead zidane used violence. that was unnecessary and innapropriate.

Zidane did not have his Gloden ball taken away, however I personally don't believe that such an award should be given to someone who displays such a violent act on the field. Also isn't FIfa's motto "Play Fair" ?? The award should've been given to Klose in my opinion.
Reply:i think they are still debating whether or not to take it away. i think they are going to because everyone is going to remember the head butt when ever this is brought up. i dont know if they give it to someone else. if they do i say give it to italia's goal keeper.

Reply:He hasn't lost the golden ball yet, nor do I think that he actually will. He is an extraordinarily talented soccer player who lost his temper. The golden ball will be based on his performance prior to the incident. He wasn't right in headbutting Materazzi, but even Materazzi does not think he should lose the golden ball. Not sure that I agree, but no one really asked me.
Reply:no it was hilarius and classic. zidane i would have done the same thing. or imite have punched him but his hand was injured. he should have used his head for hitting the ball though... it still hilarius!
