Do u think buffon should win the golden ball award? i mean he is loyal and helped his team win the worldcup..?

i certainly think he does, cuz no other players beside him is as much loyal to the clun that has be demoted. first he's young, 28, still has years to come, he was the enthusiasm to let other juve players stay, the juve players admited that. so see how loyal this guy is, DEFENITLY SHOULD WIN IT!! ;)

win the GB, he did however, win the yashin award, which is

Reply:Buffon can't win the Golden Ball award as that was already awarded to Zidane after the World Cup 2006. Buffon won the Lev Yashin award for best goalkeeper. He still has a chance of being named FIFA player of the year. Who knows if he will win it. I hope that he does. After his performance at the World Cup %26amp; with Juve, he most definately deserves it. He is a fantastic goalkeeper. He is loyal to his team. He is extraordinarily talented. He is smokin hot!

As for loyalty I don't think there are many players like him, Del Piero and Nedved that have shown that they play for the love of soccer and not for money!

Reply:Definitely not! He's overrated, and can't even save penalties. He didn't even deserve the Lev Yashin Award. Oliver Kahn is the only goalkeeper to ever win both the Golden Ball and Lev Yashin Award, because he is one of the world's greatest goalkeepers, Buffon can never compare to that. Yes, he is VERY overrated, that's just the truth, deal with it.
Reply:this dumb award is given by the French Magazine ''France Football'', so it's obvious they'd reward a French Player cos they are sore losers ! I suppose the winner would be Zidane

Reply:actually Buffon already won the best goalkeeper award because aside from the final shootout he only let one ball past his net. i too think he should win it. i used to live in Italy and i know that he is the best goalkeeper in the world. #2 is Dida who plays for Brazil.
