Both are very good but since Buffon has gotten the award for the best goalkeeper, I really like Cannavaro win the G Ball.Besides it is his last WorldCup as he had said himself.....

the 11 meter shootout is where the goalie earns his keep.
Cannavaro was just one of the shooters...the goalie is by himself.
If Cannavaro deserved the trophy, he would have made the extra effort to score long before the 11 meter shootout.
Once it's there...all credit goes to the goalie.
