first make 27 balls into 3 groups of 9 each ten weigh 2 groups .If both groups r equal in weight then gold ball is in 3 rd groups which is not weighed otherwise the golden ball is in heavier group with that we can find a group of nine balls with a golden ball.repeat this for another time with 3 groups of 3 balls.again continue same process with 3 balls.
