Zidane's a repeat offender- i hope blatter strips him of the golden ball?

people are going on about how he is still a legend after headbutting materazzi. but hes a disgraceful role model to kids everywhere. i mean, what was said to him when he headbutted that danish player in the champions league. anyone who saw that has to agree it was disgusting. they guy was on the floor and zidane just lent back and headbutted him on the face. the guy was in so much pain.

then in the 1998 world cup he stamped on that saudi player. the player was lying on the floor when zidane thought it was appropriate to stamp on him.

and now he has done it in a world cup final with millions of kids watching. this disgraceful behaviour should not be tolerated. just beacuase he was a great football doesnt excuse him. swearing occurs all the time on the pitch but this guy doesnt need any excuse to lash out as seen by his previous actions.

Zidane's a repeat offender- i hope blatter strips him of the golden ball?
That is exactly the point I've been trying to make! He is skilled with the ball, you can't take that away from him, but that's not reason enough to excuse him from that disgusting act of impulse. He's obviously done it before so it isn't as out of character as everyone is making it out to be. Excusing that behaviour is like saying "everytime someone hurts your feelings, its okay to stomp them or headbutt them." It really doesn't matter what Materazzi said to him or how offended he was... the main thing is that Zidane reacted like an idiot with no self-control and I bet he regrets it now.

As for the golden ball... I think it rightfully should have gone to Cannavaro.
Reply:Bravo to you...I agree with you 100%
Reply:Zidane, being one of the most talented football players, has always been the target of jealousy and insults and he always fought back. During the interview, Zidane said that you didn't just headbutt someone without any reason.

I don't agree but I understand his reaction to Materazzi's provocations. With or without the golden ball, France still love him so you can say anything you want, it won't change a thing.

If I were Zidane, I would finish the match, and then deal with the provocateur later on.
Reply:First of all, it is well known that Italian are the best of actors lool

And then oh please the guy is a man, he makes mistakes just like anybody

Let him live his life for God's sake

Talking about being a role model to the kids : he's one of the most generous celebrities and really gets invollved in what he does unlike others. he does soo much 4 the kids and for the poor in case you didnt know ! Maybe you should learn a bit more about the man be4 talkin sh*t

ZIDANE IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE A ROLE MODEL 4 THE KIDS and when he appeared on tellevision earlier on, he didint apologize to the italian, he apologized 1st of all to the kids and the ppl who saw the match, and espacially the kids.

Now give it a break will you !
Reply:if you were zidane and materazzi said your sister's a whore and you're a terrorist what would you have done?
Reply:I suppose we’re going to keep chasing our tails on this topic until we run out of steam. Oh well, Personally I think Blatter should leave Zidane’s ball alone! If members of the international Press which voted for him prior to his actions, wish to change their vote, then they should have the right to do so. However, FIFA should not have any right in making that decision for them. I thought it was meant to be a democratic ballot.
Reply:I don't agree with you..even though he had done that there was a good exuse to that.If u didnt hear about it,Matarrazi was saying rude comments about his mother and sister. That is noway to act especially a grown man like him.He has apologized for his action, which is great. But,Matarazzi could've at least said sorry to him for saying that.I know it was a terrible thing to do to a player, but thats what Matarazzi deserved,on a site they showed clips of what Matarazzi has done that was more awful then that head-butt.I wish he still keeps the Golden Ball,he deserves it,its not like nobody in the world has done incidents on purpose.I mean we all have to accept the apology and remember inside or outside the field, you should respect everyone so u can get the same respect as well.Well, thats my opinion,I dont speak for others, thats what I think about in my side of view.
