Does zidane still deserve the golden ball? it seems to me that he doesn't have balls at all?

The only game he really did great was the brazil-france, after that he's not seen anymore on the court, except for his freeshots, and the memorable head butt. Lets be fair, he's not deserving!!!! i prefer cannavaro or vieira. Maybe he did the head butt to have an unforgettable night.

I was shocked when I found out he got it. I think Cannavaro or Buffon deserved it.





Zidane may have played well but there are plenty of other players who played on the same level that also acted mature.
Reply:For all what he achieved in his 10+ years as a player, yes. For his overall performance in this particular tournament, not really. He did a great a job against Brazil only. But then again, that's the mighty Brazil, so whoever sends them home is a hero ;-)
Reply:Sheryl, I'm a big Italian soccer fan, because I am infact part Italian. I know what Zinedine Zidane did was wrong, but he is a really good soccer player. He did great the semi-finals and even against Italy. I also believe that if wasnt' ejected from the game that Zidane would of been the guy to make the PK, and not the other guy that missed it. I don't think he should of gotten the Golden Ball but I don't think that head butt incident should disqualify him or anything. I actually think Buffon, Italy's goalie should of gotten it.

Reply:He deserves it, because hes not like that gay Cannavaro who had no class by pulling his shorts down and running around like some drama queen.
Reply:ZZ played really well in every game, and he really showed skills in the finals with his tricky penalty and later header which was saved by Buffon. I would have gone for Cannavaro but I don't think ZZ is undeserving.

Reply:Zidane deserves a kick in the butt. Cannavaro or even Vieira should have benn given the Goalen ball. Zidane played good one or two games but that's it. Oh ya he scored LOL two penalty kick goals that shouldn't of been awarded in the first place. Zidane is a poor sport and it's nice to know we will never see him in the world cup again.
