I feel that he is very overated I admit he had a brilliant world cup and he should have won the golden ball rather than Zizou but I don't think Cannavaro is the best defender in the world.

He's definitely pass his prime. He had a great World Cup and he should just got the Golden Ball. The European and World Footballer of The Year awards should have go to the others. These awards should be judged on both the players club and country performance. Juventus was involved in the match-fixing scam and that means that Cannavaro should have had a pretty easy season compared to other candidates. Now he's at Real Madrid and he isn't living up to his name as a European and World Footballer Of The Year. He's playing rubbish now. So i feel that he's definitely overrated.
