Golden balls UK TV game show..what do you think??

My husband watches 'Goldenballs' TV game show hosted by Jasper Carrott. I think this game show brings out all the worst qualities of human nature....greed, selfishness, betrayal, deceipt, anger, confrontation..does anybody else feel the same way?

I think it's atrocious crap.


I watched it a few weeks ago and it was horrible, a woman was in uncontrollable tears after a smug prat of a bloke stole all the money.


It's greed TV.


I will never watch it again, it's nasty and not even an interesting format.


Watching people opening golden balls and is as boring as hell.
Reply:I watched it only once. As it did not seem very interesting, I have not seen it again.





I like Jasper Carrott he was a excellent comedian but I am not sure I could get used to him doing a game show somehow. I don't know, perhaps it is just that particular game show.





But the qualities it brings out is the nature of the show isn't it. I personally do not wish to watch it.
Reply:I enjoy the show but must admit go on it to split the money so would come away a looser on the percentages that steal ha ha


Worst one was £95 grand in pot old lady and young one both said split then the younger one stole and the elder one split. The younger one said oh she has had her life i have two children to think of discusting even Jasper felt it!!!!
Reply:I agree with you to a certain point. I love Goldenballs and watch it everyday but I am appalled at the morals of some of the contestants. Shaking hands, promising to split and then steal the lot - I don't know how they can live with themselves. There are some nice people though who do split so everyone goes away happy.
Reply:There are so many shows that present people with examples of unacceptable behaviour as acceptable, that I'm sure most viewers are already turned of to its loathsome nature. Shame really, I like Jasper Carrot. Anyway, the show's feckin' shite.

Reply:Makes good TV though. I bet they have to leave from seperate exits to stop them attacking each other after the show. If someone stole a load of money off me right at the last minute I'd wanna cave his head in.
Reply:I've tried to watch it once or twice, but lost interest after 5 minutes. I don't see the point of it myself.
