Materazzi admitted insalted zidane, how fifa want to give back zidane's golden ball?political thing?!?

I think Zidane would refuse to accept the Golden Ball. He still sticks to his stand. He'll repeat the same in future under a similar situation. An award wouldn't make him greater. He's already great. I stand by him. A good man beat a bad man - that's all. He was punished according to the rule of the game. And that ended there. Why so much brouhaha over it.

because no matter what a person says, you should never react with physical violence. what materazzi did was wrong but what zidane did was worse.
Reply:I think we all knew that Materazzi said something to Zidane, because there was no other explanation to his reaction. But words are words and happen all the time in football. How many times we have seen players insulting the referee or the assistant for an off-side position or something like that? Even in low voice. And they haven't got a red card. But nothing can justify Zidane's action. It was too uncivilized and of a bad taste. An action like that should not be done by the best player of the tournament. It is like I can go and kick whom I want and even get a prize for this.
Reply:wow, i dont even get what your saying, your grammers that bad
Reply:FIFA acknowledges itself as the world governing body of professional football (soccer). As with any government, company, or persons in the spotlight, FIFA has a protocol to focus on being involved in international community relations. Which means they are involved in many charitable and community functions, which in return gives FIFA and football/soccer a positive image in the world. So in a way, you could say this is a political problem, because the image of the ZIDANE/MATERAZZI situation has caused FIFA, ZIDANE, the WORLD CUP, and football/soccer to come under world scrutiny. It is like in some parts of the world what is called 'showing face'. Which in the eyes of FIFA, ZIDANE has caused embarrassment to the organization. As has Materazzi with his alledged remarks towards ZIDANE'S family and their origins (both ethnic and religious). LET US NOT ALL FORGET THAT Materazzi's REMARKS WERE DEGRADING OF WOMEN, in which ZIDANE, DEFENDED THE DIGNITY OF HIS MOTHER AND SISTER, AND BY SOME REPORTS HIS WIFE. I believe that on July 20, 2006, both ZINEDINE ZIDANE and MATERAZZI are to appear at a FIFA hearing concerning this matter. If FIFA were to understand how a majority of the public truly feel (with all of the facts available to them), they possibly would take this into consideration when determining whether to allow ZINEDINE to keep his golden ball award. Which Materazzi is now saying, "ZIDANE deserves to keep the Golden Ball Award because he is still my hero."
Reply:seriousy. i think dat zidane deserves d gb award 100%.
